Danielé Navello was born in Italy and discovered Iyengar Yoga in 2001 in Florence, where he trained with Gabriella Giubilaro for 3 years. For a time, he devoted himself to circus arts, studying at the circus schools of Moscow and Brussels and performing with other artists. But Yoga was always his passion. In 2008, he resumed his training with Bianca Strans Hatfield, obtaining his certification to teach Iyengar Yoga (“Introductory Level II”) in November 2010.
After a first teaching experience in the Lot, he decided to deepen his knowledge of Yoga, and moved to Nice to follow the teaching of Christian Pisano and June Whittaker. He spent two years training, assisting, and teaching at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Nice. He then taught for a year and a half in the mountain town of Gap (Hautes Alpes) before joining us in Bordeaux in 2014.
Under the guidance of Christian Pisano, he obtained the “Intermediate Junior I” certification in 2013 and “Intermediate Junior II” in 2014.
He continues to practice daily and attends “Deepening the Practice” courses for teachers several times a year with Christian Pisano and June Whittaker. Since 2012, he has traveled regularly to Pune, India to study with the Iyengar family.
Suzanne Walch opened the first Iyengar Yoga classes in Bordeaux in 1993 and founded the Iyengar Yoga Center of Bordeaux shortly thereafter.
In the early 1980s, she had the opportunity to attend classes in Pune (India) with the Master himself, B.K.S. Iyengar, as well as intensive courses with this daughter Geeta.
A believer in the principles of transmission and lineage, she is happy to now share her studio with a young teacher.
